Classes & Events
Learn sourdough by getting your hands in the dough.
Our classes are hands-on, relaxed, and designed to take the mystery out of sourdough. Whether you're just getting started or ready to learn something new, you'll leave with practical skills—and plenty of sourdough.

What to Expect
Hands-On Learning
You won't just watch a demonstration. You'll work with the dough yourself and learn by doing.
Small, Relaxed Classes
Ask questions, get individual help, and learn in a comfortable environment without feeling rushed.
Something to Take Home
Every class includes something to take home so you can keep baking—and practicing—after class ends.
Thinking About Taking a Class?
Do I need experience?
Not at all. Our beginner class is designed for people who have never made sourdough as well as those who’ve tried before and want to understand it better.
How do I keep my starter alive?
We’ll teach you how to feed and care for it, how to know when it’s ready to use, and what to do when life gets busy and you aren’t baking every week.
Is sourdough as complicated as it looks?
It doesn’t have to be. We focus less on memorizing rules and more on teaching you how to recognize what your starter and dough are telling you.
What do I take home?
That depends on the class. In our Beginner Sourdough Masterclass, you’ll leave with an active sourdough starter and your own dough to bake at home. Specialty classes include their own take-home items and projects.
Upcoming Classes & Events
Our class schedule changes throughout the year. Check back often for new dates, seasonal workshops, and special events.
Beginner Sourdough Masterclass
Learn the process. Understand the dough. Bake with confidence.
Go beyond following a recipe and learn what’s actually happening in your dough. In this hands-on masterclass, we walk through the sourdough process from caring for your starter and mixing your dough to fermentation, shaping, scoring and baking.
You’ll work with the dough yourself, ask questions along the way, and learn the visual and physical cues that help take the guesswork out of sourdough. You’ll leave with an active sourdough starter, dough to bake at home, and the confidence to keep baking on your own.
Seasonal & Specialty Classes
There’s always something new to learn.
Once you've mastered the basics—or if you just want to try something fun—we offer specialty classes throughout the year. Past classes have explored inclusions, focaccia, fermentation and proofing, seasonal breads, and specialty shaping techniques.
Each class is hands-on and designed around skills you can use again at home. Offerings change throughout the year, so check back to see what we're teaching next.
Class dates appear alongside our regular bake days when registration is open. If you don't see a class listed, check back soon for the next one.
